Private Message to my sweetest Lavender
Dec. 19th, 2014 11:55 pmDearest Lavender
Oh, these are wonderful!
Pardon, but I am trying out the very fine Arithmancer's Inks from Scribere et Manu, which are very useful indeed!
What I meant to say is this:
My dearest Lavender, my most excellent fierce Queen of Beauty and Grace, I do hope you are not letting recent distressing events dim your spirits. Take heart, for you and I, with clear minds and true hearts will weather all and win through to our glorious future!
You are managing all right, aren't you?
We shall manage to find some excellent amusements during hols to take your mind off everything, indeed we shall. I should very much like to spend as much time as possible seeing whatever entertainments you wish. (I am also given to understand that my Father is under a great deal of pressure just now, and getting out of the house would not go amiss.)
Say you will do me the honour, dear one, and we will find surcease from sorrows and stresses in what revels there may be.
(These are quite splendid inks, are they not? It was so very generous of the Headmaster to give them to me!)
