I have arranged to be available for all observational and recording duties at any point needed. I gather it is to be at some time period yet to be specified within the weekend, but I have gone ahead and blocked out the entire thing, and thus all you will need to do is inform me when the timing has been finalised.

Lav will adapt herself to the necessity of my being focussed on the important tasks at hand rather than to devoting myself to her as per usual, I am sure.

It's very reassuring to me to know we'll have someone I can trust to run observations and calculations here.

I'll let you know when we sort out the timing, so you might as well take time while you can. I may be out for a couple of hours tomorrow with my family, if it looks like we won't be attempting Barra tomorrow night.
