Due to a recent gift facilitated by certain members of the Board of Governors, our library is being enriched by a significant number of new volumes. Madam Pince will be displaying them on a special floating shelf as they come in, and she has already obtained several volumes that are most promising. The members of Ravenclaw Corner encourage you all to come to the library and peruse these new acquisitions as they arrive.

Might I stop up to ask you a few questions regarding that book on area effects I was reading, and borrow a copy of Klinefeldter's On Locational Magic? Though that does lead me to think about how to be fair - I'm guessing you're thinking of the project you learned of this morning. However, it's quite fair for you to ask about topics related both to your ongoing research interests and to class topics.

I'm not free this afternoon, but usual office hours at 7.

I am pleased to report that all spellwork finally became fully effective at half six this morning. Thank you again for vetting my plan in terms of undesirable interactions with certain Castle magics.

It may not be the flashiest tribute, but the work in it is quite solid, which is a consolation when others take pride of place in common gossip.
