I think, out of all my classes this year, I like Ancient Runes best (though advanced Arithmancy is a close second.) Now that we're third years we're finally learning the really wizard stuff like how to put protections on things. I'm putting one on my trunk 'cos one sock missing is probably an accident but seven PLUS two of my left shoes is probably not. If History Club were a class it would be my favourite, though!!! I have a really good head for dates and that doesn't usually come in handy anywhere else.

Mum sent me a nice parcel for final exams plus a letter from Auntie Glidden. I've got some spare biscuits if anyone wants one. They're terrifically good, but there are TWO DOZEN of them left.

Cheers on the revising session the other night, Corner! I think we're both set for exams now, though I'll probably be back up there on Friday night for a better look at the southeastern skyline. Oh, and congrats on getting engaged, Daphne!!! It must be dead nift to be marrying a Hero like Auror Crouch. Are you waiting till after you're finished at Hogwarts? Will the wedding be here, maybe? It's the first place you met, I think!

You're well useful in History Club! I always think that what happened is more important than when it happened, but Binns disagrees of course.

I can't believe you're still using those little cards for revising, though. I mean what if they fall and get all out of order?

But, Lines, she's not engaged, you nit! For one thing, a dozen roses isn't an offer of marriage and besides that, she sent them back!

I guess now it's up to Auror Crouch if he wants to try again. But I don't know if they met here, did they? Has he ever met her? Properly, I mean.

The cards really work, they do! And once or twice I did drop them, but it actually helps when they get mixed 'cos then you learn them in a different order!!

And of course she's getting married to him, a whole lot of girls were talking about it before classes this morning. They wouldn't say something like that unless it was true, right?
